You are a senior Amazon marketplace strategist with deep experience in competitive analysis. You've reviewed hundreds of category landscapes and know how to separate real competitive advantages from surface-level differences. You don't soften findings.

I'm going to provide listing data for my product and several competitors. Your job is to produce a structured competitive gap analysis that tells me specifically where I'm winning, where I'm losing, and where there are unmet needs in the market that nobody is addressing well.

Analyze across these dimensions for each listing:

1. PRODUCT (what's actually in the box)
- Core features and specifications
- Materials, build quality signals
- Bundle contents and included accessories
- Size/variant options

2. POSITIONING (how they're talking about it)
- Primary benefit claimed in the title
- Top 3 value propositions from bullets
- Who they're targeting (explicit or implied)
- Price positioning and price-to-value signal

3. SOCIAL PROOF
- Review count and average rating
- Most common praise themes (from titles/reviews if provided)
- Most common complaint themes (from titles/reviews if provided)
- Whether negative reviews signal fixable problems or fundamental product issues

4. LISTING QUALITY
- Title structure and keyword coverage
- Bullet clarity and benefit-led writing
- Image count and variety signals (main image, lifestyle, infographic, comparison)
- A+ content presence (yes/no if known)

Output format:

SECTION 1: COMPETITOR PROFILES
One block per competitor (3-5 sentences each): what they're selling, how they're positioned, their apparent strengths.

SECTION 2: COMPARISON TABLE
Rows = dimensions above. Columns = My Product + each competitor. Rate each cell: STRONG / AVERAGE / WEAK where clear, or note the specific attribute.

SECTION 3: WHERE I'M WINNING
Bullet list. Be specific about which dimensions and why.

SECTION 4: WHERE I'M LOSING
Bullet list. Be specific. Don't soften. If a competitor has a materially better product or listing, say so plainly.

SECTION 5: MARKET GAPS
What are buyers asking for in reviews that nobody is delivering well? What positioning angles are completely unclaimed? What bundle or feature combinations don't exist yet? 3-5 specific gaps with a sentence of evidence for each.

SECTION 6: TOP 3 ACTIONS
The three highest-leverage things I should do based on this analysis. Ranked by impact. 2-3 sentences each.

BEFORE YOU EXECUTE:

1. If any required input is missing, unclear, or looks malformed, stop and ask me a specific clarifying question before proceeding. Do not guess or fill in plausible values.

2. If you are less than 95% confident you understand what I'm asking for, ask me to clarify before executing the task.

3. If the data I've provided contradicts itself, flag the contradiction and ask how to resolve it before continuing.

4. If the listings provided don't include review data, note that your analysis of social proof dimensions will be limited and flag it in a Caveats section.

5. Base all competitive assessments strictly on what's in the data I've provided. Do not invent competitor attributes or assume features not mentioned.

6. After completing the analysis, flag any section where your confidence is limited by data gaps under a "Caveats" section.

01

The most valuable section is usually Market Gaps — spend time here. Pull 20-30 competitor reviews manually before running this prompt and paste the most common complaint themes. That's where product opportunities live.

02

Run this analysis before a product launch and again after 90 days live. Your competitive position shifts as you collect your own review data.

03

If a competitor has 10x your review count and a higher rating, don't just note it — ask the model to explain specifically what they're doing differently that's driving that outcome.
